Attention all interested applicants, we would like to inform you that the recruitment exercise for the Nigerian Airforce has officially commenced. The registration form for the Nigerian Airforce is available online and can be accessed free of charge. If you are interested in applying for the Airmen/Airwomen recruitment in the BMTC 2022, we encourage you to read this article to find out the commencement date for the recruitment.

The Nigerian Airforce portal can be found at All applicants are required to upload their credentials on the portal. Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment process. Detailed application guidelines for the NAF 2022 recruitment can be found on this website.

Applicants for the NAF will undergo a Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) lasting six months. Eligible candidates for the Airmen/Airwomen category include those with ND, SSCE, NABTEB, Trade Test, or City and Guild Certificate qualifications.

Online registration for the NAF will begin on March 2, 2022, and the closing date has been set for July 26, 2022. We strongly encourage candidates to apply online through the portal, following the provided application guidelines.

Before registering for the Nigerian Airforce, it is important to fulfill certain minimum requirements and qualifications. Please note that these requirements may be periodically reviewed and updated by the Nigerian Airforce. Any changes will be promptly communicated on this platform to keep you well-informed.

The Nigerian Airforce recruitment is open to physically fit Nigerian citizens by birth. Individuals with any form of disability will not be considered. Additionally, please take note of the following general instructions:

  1. Nationality: Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
  2. Age: Applicants must fall within the age range of 18 to 22 years for non-tradesmen/women and 18 to 25 years for tradesmen/women. Assistant chaplains/assistant imams and drivers must be between 18 and 28 years of age.
  3. Marital Status: All applicants must be single.
  4. Height: The minimum height requirement is 1.66 meters or 5.4ft for males and 1.63 meters or 5.3ft for females.
  5. Medical Fitness: Applicants must meet the medical and employment standards set by the Nigerian Airforce. Only physically fit individuals are expected to apply.
